Stefan Wagner is staying in Sydney, Australia as guest professor. He will give some talks at the University of Technology, Sydney, as well as meet with Zenon Chaczko, a renowned software engineer and professor at the university.

The article AbYSS: Adapting Scatter Search to Multiobjective Optimization has been published in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, Volume 12 Issue 4 2008. Our colleague Gabriel Kronberger is currently in Hamburg, Germany, to present the paper "On the Effects of Enhanced Selection Models on Quality and Comparability of Classifiers Produced by Genetic Programming" at the 32nd Annual Conference of the German Classification Society (GfKl 2008).
