We are glad to announce that Nicolas Freitag McPhee from the University of Minnesota, Morris visited our campus after the Berlin GECCO giving many valuable hints to Patrik Kimmeswenger, who is implementing PushGP in HeuristicLab in his master thesis.

Our researcher Viktoria Hauder was again awarded the prize for "Best assignment resolution of appreciation 2nd place​". (1st photo with Dr. Manuel Lopez-Ibanez​, 2nd photo with Prof. Enrique Alba and Dennis Wilson). We would like to congratulate you on this award!

At this year's Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO) in Berlin, our research group was again represented with a large delegation of experienced and young researchers.

Besides the EvoSoft workshop hosted by Stefan Wagner and Michael Affenzeller, we are especially pleased that our researcher Viktoria Hauder has reached Best Paper 3rd place at the Student Workshop. (in the picture with Vanessa Volz and Boris Naujoks​) Congratulations!
