Research Interests

I'm interested in the development and analysis of solution methods and their application to real-world relevant problems. In particular, I'm interested in developing a guidance system for choosing and parameterizing metaheuristic methods.

1997 - 2006:   Work at the Werbeagentur Beham (technical assistance, multimedia and web)
1999 - 2007:   Studies in Computer Science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria
since 2004:   Member of Michael Affenzeller's Genetic Algorithms Research Group and Plug-In developer for HeuristicLab
Feb-Jul 2005:   Exchange Study at the University of Granada, Spain and working in the group of Enrique Alba at the University of Málaga, Spain.
April 2007:   MSc in Computer Science
since May 2007:   Research associate at the Research Center of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, Austria.
July 2019:   PhD in Engineering Science, Johannes Kepler University Linz
