While Artificial Intelligence (AI) permeates an increasing number of facets of our life, considering human factors in AI has often been neglected for the sake of increasing algorithmic performance. Addressing this gap, the Human-Centered AI program strives to elaborate methods for creating transparent AI technology that serves humans, is tailored to individuals and groups, can explain its reasoning, and is evaluated from a human perspective.
