The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), the Province of Upper Austria (Land OÖ) and the OÖ. Technologie- und Marketinggesellschaft m.b.H. (TMG) cordially invite anyone interested to an information event about applied research in Christian Doppler Laboratories and Josef Ressel Centres. In particular, the event will showcase how small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) can participate in these research projects. The Province of Upper Austria wishes to strengthen the 'innovation capacity' of SMEs and we can definitely recommend the event for entrepreneurs who want the support of established university und non-university institutes in R&D.

Research group head Michael Affenzeller will present our own Josef Ressel Centre Heureka! for heuristic and evolutionary algorithms, showing what we are working on with Heureka! partners voestalpine, Rosenbauer, carvatech and AKH Linz in the areas of warehouse logistics optimization, facility layout planning, medical diagnosis or steel production process modeling. Moreover, Rosenbauer logistics center manager Werner Achleitner will be present for Q&A, so you can get the perspective of one of our partners as well.
