GECCO 2022 @ Boston

Jun 28, 2022

Stefan Wagner, Michael Kommenda and Christian Haider are going to attend the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference - GECCO 2022, which takes place from July 9-13, in Boston, USA. The GECCO Conference is one of the most important and prestigious conferences for the latest high-quality results in genetic and evolutionary computation since 1999. This year, the conference is organized as a hybrid event for the first time.

Two workshops will be hosted by HEAL members:

  • Workshop on Evolutionary Computation Software Systems (Evosoft) by Stefan Wagner and Michael Affenzeller, July 9, 8:30 – 10:20 ET
  • Workshop on Symbolic Regression (SymReg) by Michael Kommenda and Gabriel Kronberger, July 09, 16:00–17:50 ET

Christian Haider will present the paper “Comparing Optimistic and Pessimistic Constraint Evaluation in Shape-constrained Symbolic Regression” on July 12th, 12:40 ET and Andreas Beham the paper “DynStack – A Benchmarking Framework for Dynamic Optimization Problems in Warehouse Operations” on July 9th, 9:35 ET.

Also, the two Competitions taking place on July 10th

  • Dynamic Stacking Optimization in Uncertain Environments and
  • Interpretable Symbolic Regression for Data Science are organized by HEAL members.
